Last Thursday night, Justin and I participated in a Baby Dedication ceremony at our church. It was a special occasion for us to publicly profess our commitment to raising Addison in a Christ centered home. We vowed to instill a spiritual foundation in her life, so that she will be prepared to answer the call of salvation from the Lord one day.
Chip Henderson, our preacher, prayed over each family and child presented...a total of 46 babies! It took a while, but it was such a blessing. Addison did very well through the event, considering that it took place right at our dinner and bedtime. She loved looking at all the other cute babies and when it was our turn to go in front of the church, she laughed and smiled the entire time. She loved everyone in the congregation looking at her :-)
I thought this pic was too cute. During her prayer, she was looking up and smiling at Chip.

Baby Dedication is so special. It was a good reminder for me as well. Addison is so blessed to have you guys as parents.
Soooo sorry we missed it! I know it was so special and you both are such wonderful parents! How blessed ADdison is!!
